Staff Sexual Offense Policy

Due to rules and agreements set in place by our organization’s contract with the Alliance LARP National Organization, we are required to verify that none of our volunteer staff members are registered sex offenders on any US sex offender registry. To that end, before the volunteer staff application process can continue, we will need to collect information that we will use to verify your background on https://www.nsopw.gov/ .

As an important note, if you are found to have answered this form falsely or withheld information in order to avoid the disclosure of a previous conviction, Alliance LARP Colorado will respond with a full and immediate ban - if you choose to respond to this form, please respond honestly.

Alliance LARP Colorado takes the privacy of all data we collect extremely seriously, and your information will be treated with maximum confidentiality. Only the Staff Manager, Organization Admin, and Board will have access to your information; in case of audits, access to this information may be temporarily granted to a designated auditor from either the Alliance Colorado LARP Adjudication team, or a designee of the Alliance LARP presidents. Your information will be securely retained in order to meet these auditing requirements, and will be updated and re-reviewed on an annual basis on a set date which the Board will determine.

If your volunteer staff position with Alliance LARP Colorado is terminated at any time, your information will be permanently deleted from our database within 48 hours of your separation being processed.

Furthermore, Alliance LARP Colorado is required to report any positive results of a background check to the national organization, which will result in a national level ban.
